We’re just about in must-win territory

Welcome back, Fake Nunes fans. We’re here for another season of Syracuse Orange ACC Basketball so let’s get to the preview of this pretty important game. Some would call it “must-win” but we wouldn’t because it’s not quite win or go home time yet

Opponent: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Location: Badstreet Atlanta, GA

Students: 15,201 students who are better at math than you

The 2020-21 Fake Nunes Equation of Tumult (#FNET)

You wanted something more ridiculous than RPI and the NCAA gave you NET. We give you more ridiculousness so we’re bringing back a revised FNET metric.

Head Coach Bench Attire and Mask:

Give Josh Pastner credit for dressing like an engineer. He looks like he’s about to lead a STEM program on a tour of the research facility

Jim Boeheim might get the hang of this mask thing by the end of the season.

NCAA Basketball: Boston College at Syracuse Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Advantage: Georgia Tech

NBA 2K Playability:

Moses Wright and Jose Alvarado are a solid inside-outside duo

Advantage: Georgia Tech

Basketball Program Hashtag:

None vs #BuiltDifferent/#TogetherWeSwarm

You know how that old saying goes- “If you have two hashtags, you don’t have any hashtags”. It’s a shame Tech because #TogetherWeSwarm is great on its own.

Advantage: Push

ACC Social Media Favorites:

On any other team Marek Dolezaj would be a lock but he’s got to battle Jose Alvarado’s hair in this one.

Advantage: Georgia Tech

1.4/10 We’re more likely to see Boeheim throw one of his walk-ons than his mask.....and if the Orange don’t improve their defense then we’d advise everyone on the sidelines to pick the furthest seat they can

Prediction:

So with hopes slowly melting away like the piles of snow in Central New York the Orange show up like a bright sunny day to make you think that the worst is over. I mean this is how it goes every year right, you’re ready to close the door and then suddenly there’s hope in the sign of a crucial Syracuse win.
