Welcome back, Fake Nunes fans. We’re here for another season of Syracuse Orange ACC Basketball so let’s get to the preview of this pivotal game...no really it’s kind of important

Opponent: Boston College Eagles

Location: Chestnut Hill, Mass.

Students: 14,600 students who have left purchased a lot of Tampa Bay Buccaneers gear

The 2020-21 Fake Nunes Equation of Tumult (#FNET)

You wanted something more ridiculous than RPI and the NCAA gave you NET. We give you more ridiculousness so we’re bringing back a revised FNET metric.

Head Coach Bench Attire and Mask:

Jim Christian hasn’t won a lot of games but give him credit for being smart enough to realize dressing like this to lose games is a lot better than being stuck in a suit and losing games

We thought maybe Jim Boeheim would be ready to get back into a sports coat next year but he’s advocating for the sideline casual to remain. However we do know he’s eager to stop “wearing” a mask while he coaches.

Advantage: Jim Christian because as far as we can tell he isn’t eating boogers on the bench

NBA 2K Playability:

Yeah the only people taking BC are the ones who just hit random and Jared Dudley

Advantage: Syracuse

Basketball Program Hashtag:

None vs #ForBoston

We thought BC might be using #ForTampa. Perhaps they’ll open a satellite campus there for next Fall.

Advantage: Boston College

ACC Social Media Favorites:

Steffon Mitchell has been in the league longer than 14 of the head coaches have.

Advantage: Boston College

9.9/10 Jim has moved right past grumpy and cranky into enraged this week. If the Orange don’t get off to a good start in this one we might get a chair heading towards Jeff Rubin’s lecture podium.

Prediction:

All these calls for Kadary Richmond to start are going to fire up Buddy Boeheim and Joe Girard and they unleash a three-point barrage against the depleted Eagles. The Orange get to roll deeper into the bench in the final two minutes of an easy win and Jim Boeheim shocks everyone by not gloating in the post-game zoom.
