The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team is back in action, even if the outcome doesn’t count. On Wednesday night at 7 p.m., SU will host the D2 Pace University Setters (nice work, #BRAND) for the first of two exhibition games prior to the start of the 2021-22 season.
You may very well be headed to the Carrier Dome to watch this one, and if so, enjoy! But if not, you can hang with us here while we catch the game on ACC Network Extra.
Before things tip off and we get our first true look at this year’s squad — one that will turn over quite a bit of the starting lineup from last year — here are some reading materials to peruse:
- Breaking news: Bourama Sidibe has suffered another knee injury — to the other knee — and will miss a month
- Despite departures, on-court chemistry will be a hot topic early this year
- Digging into last week’s Heim-perbole about Syracuse this year
- The Boeheim trio’s first and only shot at a title together adds another layer to 2021-22
- Joe Girard on bouncing back this season
- James shares what happened during last week’s Orange vs. White scrimmage, if you missed
- Buddy Boeheim’s first-team All-ACC, and hype continues to rise
Leave your pre- and in-game comments below. We’ll have a recap up shortly after the game. And G’ORANGE!
