The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team has had their schedule impacted by the ongoing pandemic in more than a few ways. After having all games cancelled through January 2nd due to a Buffalo player testing positive after playing the Orange, issues with the Florida State Seminoles program have left the Orange returning to action against the Pittsburgh Panthers instead.
So to bring some good news to this party, the most recent schedule change is a welcome bit of news.

The Orange will be playing the Georgetown Hoyas this Saturday night at 8 PM ET on ESPN2. After a succession of early afternoon ‘Cuse-GTown games, this feels more like a return to the traditional Big East Prime Time roots that made this rivalry so special.
Now all we can all move forward to the real question at hand: will ‘Cuse come out rocking the gorgeous and perfect Script Throwbacks for this game, or will Jim Boeheim’s alternate jersey superstitions keep them in their more bland modern look?
