GameThread: Syracuse Orange (9-4, 3-3) vs. Virginia Cavaliers (10-2, 6-0)

The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team (9-4, 3-3) has scored some notable upsets over the Virginia Cavaliers (10-2, 6-0) since joining the ACC. Granted, the Hoos have also stomped us to hell at other times. But hey, that’s not what we’re focusing on here.

On Monday night at 7 p.m. ET, these two teams face off once again — on ESPN — to see if there’s enough upset magic on the Orange sideline to score another unexpected victory and vault the team back into the NCAA Tournament picture. For UVA, a win continues to solidify them as a title contender and a potential one-seed come March Madness. We obviously don’t want that now, do we?
