Name: Kevin Mital
Position: Wide Receiver
Year: (Redshirt) Freshman
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 232 lbs.
Hometown: Saint-Hubert, Quebec, Canada
High School: André-Grasset College
2019 stats: Redshirt season.
2020 projections: Syracuse is looking to replace the receiving production lost with the departures of Trishton Jackson and Sean Riley. The 21 year-old Mital could find himself part of the receiving rotation this Fall.
How’d he get here?: Mital joined the Orange last August after an appeal of his initial eligibility was granted. He played two seasons for CEGEP school André-Grasset College where he caught 115 passes and had 35 touchdowns.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Mital was rated 3rd among CEGEP prospects by CanadaFootballChat right behind his new Syracuse teammate Ben Labrosse.

Tweets of wonder: Mital has only a few retweets on his page so you can use this one to refresh your French

What movie would Dino recommend for him?: Let’s go with “The Whole Nine Yards” which was set in Montreal. While the Bruce Willis movie doesn’t mention football, getting your receiver to think about getting close to a first down on every reception is a good strategy.
Interesting nugget o’interest: Mital and Labrosse give the Orange four players from Quebec so they are two players short of fielding an ice hockey squad and pretty sure you wouldn’t want to head into the corners to chase the book against that group.
Let’s get a look at ya: Here’s some highlights from Mital’s CEGEP days.
