If you thought last week’s slate of Syracuse Orange games on television was bleak, this week’s is even less fruitful. While the ACC Network’s had to handle some unique challenges these past few months, the returns have been mixed — which (to me) is not a great sign for the network as a whole.
With tens of thousands of hours of inventory for all 15 ACC schools dating back to the late 1970s, we could’ve seen a ton of interesting content since live sports were suspended back in March. Instead, it’s been a vary stale parade of the same games and the same games airing twice in a 24-hour stretch. Since we’re in this situation ‘til at least late July — if not longer — it doesn’t paint a great picture.
Each Monday, we’re highlighting how and when you can watch the Orange on TV. Unfortunately not much to choose from this time around, but it’s something.

Syracuse volleyball at Notre Dame (2019), midnight — ACC Network
It’s a rarity (for some reason) to see the ACC Network shine a spotlight on sports like volleyball, despite the fact that it was part of the point of having the network. Unfortunately, this showcase for SU is a 3-1 loss from last November.
Syracuse field hockey vs. Virginia (2019), 4:30 a.m. — ACC Network
Another loss featured here, unfortunately. In a matchup of ranked squads, Syracuse and UVA played to a 0-0 draw at half, but then the Hoos were able to add two second-half scores to earn the shutout road victory.
Syracuse volleyball at Notre Dame (2019), 1 p.m. — ACC Network
It’s your only real shot to watch ‘Cuse volleyabll on ACC Network. So despite the loss, maybe worth tuning in if you’re a fan (or want to become more of one).
Syracuse field hockey vs. Virginia (2019), 7:30 p.m. — ACC Network
Same game, same result.
