Hoeh is ranked three stars by 247sports and Rivals. He joins Austyn Kauhi as the only offensive linemen in ‘Cuse’s class of 2021 so far. Hoeh is also the second recruit to commit to Syracuse from Illinois in this recruiting cycle, joining tight end Landon Morris.
“Syracuse really has everything I was looking for in a school,” Hoeh said to Rivals publisher Tim OHalloran. “It’s a big time football program playing in a great conference in the ACC. They have a great campus and facilities and educationally it’s an excellent school that offers a great education. Playing in the ACC and playing for a Power Five school was also a big factor.”
Syracuse was the only Power Five school to submit an offer for Hoeh. The Glen Ellyn, Ill. native also fielded offers from Ivy League Schools including Columbia, Dartmouth, and Penn. Hoeh also considered offers from military schools Air Force and Navy.
Welcome to Syracuse, Wes! Give him a warm welcome, guys. You can check out his tape here:
