Unfortunately, it’s slim pickings this week if you’re looking for Syracuse Orange games on television. Luckily, the powers-that-be at ESPN and the ACC Network at least made two solid choices for us.
It’s the middle of June already, and we’ve been without live U.S. team sports for three months now. That fact has forced a lot of sports-focused networks to pivot programming and show us old games. It’ll remain the case until late July, in all likelihood.
Each Monday, we’re highlighting how and when you can watch the Orange on TV (or in the case of this week, YouTube as well). Unfortunately not much to choose from this time around, but I’d say these games (both wins) are worth your while.
(all times ET)

Syracuse football vs. NC State (2018), 7 p.m. — YouTube
Certainly you remember this primetime bout with NC State. Just a week after Tommy DeVito led a comeback vs. UNC to get win No. 5 for Syracuse, the Pack came to town ranked 22nd in the country. Eric Dungey got the start for the Orange and the rest was history. It was SU’s coming out party, so to speak, as they picked up a thrilling 51-41 win to become bowl eligible for the first time under Dino Babers. I’d watch this game all day.
Tuesday, June 16
Syracuse men’s basketball at Virginia (2020), midnight — ACC Network
Come for the road upset over a top-25 team, stay for the Buddy Boeheim circus shots from the parking lot.
Syracuse men’s basketball at Virginia (2020), noon — ACC Network
Just in case you failed to be awake during the midnight showing, it’s on again at noon.
