Name: Cameron Jordan
Position: Wide receiver
Year: (Redshirt) Junior
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 214
Hometown: Wheatley Heights, N.Y.
High School: Half Hollow Hills West
2019 stats: Appearing in all 12 games last season, Jordan grabbed three catches for 20 yards on the year. He was also a versatile special teamer, on punt, punt return and kickoff return squads.
2020 projection: Jordan, along with Taj Harris and Nykeim Johnson were penciled in as the first team wide receivers coming into the spring, so he’ll be seeing plenty of field time. With a 6-foot-3 frame he’ll be a big target for Tommy DeVito and the offense this season.
How’d he get here: He held offers from Boston College, Temple, Wake Forest, and UConn among others, but decided to head north to Syracuse.
What’d recruiting sites say: Jordan was a 3-star from 247Sports and ESPN and 2-star from Rivals.
Money quote: Jordan, talking about the recruiting process to Stephen Bailey, and how he ended up at Syracuse —
“When I saw that the receivers were making big plays — they threw the ball deep, over the middle, just passing the ball all over, I was like, ‘This is where I want to be.’”

What movie would Dino recommend for him: I think we’ll go with James Cameron’s classic 1986 action flick, Aliens. I know, you can debate this versus Ridley Scott’s Alien as the better of the franchise, but I think they’re both first-string talent.
Interesting Nugget O‘Interest: Cameron not only played basketball at Half Hollow Hills but he was a three sport athlete as a member of the school’s lacrosse team.
