Just when you think you’re done adding new commitments for the day, the Syracuse Orange football team adds another player to the class of 2021.
Hours after Derek McDonald pledged to Syracuse, wide receiver Kendall Long also committed, via his Twitter feed:

Long attends River Bluff High School in Lexington, S.C. and currently stands at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds — making him a big target already with a year to go before potentially arriving on campus. On 247Sports, he’s a three-star prospect rated a top-20 player in the state of South Carolina and top-200 receiver in the class. He had other offers from Appalachian State, East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State and Akron, among others. Justin Lustig was his primary recruiter.
Though SU’s been busy on the recruiting front these past few weeks, most of the emphasis has been on the defensive side of the ball. Long is just the second offensive player — of seven total commits — joining running back Josh Hough.
Welcome aboard, Kendall! Hope to see you join the growing list of impressive wideouts to play for Syracuse under Dino Babers. If you’d like to see some of his highlights, check out the tape below.
