This week has been filled with discussions about food, what quantifies a restaurant, and whether or not one establishment is just overpriced item that they’re known for. In the true spirit of CNY, our Final Four represents a little of everything. We have a Hill staple, a downtown favorite, a national brand who calls CNY home, and a plucky local spot all competing for the crown of the Inaugural TNIAAM Restaurant Champion.

#1 Dinosaur BBQ vs #21 Heid’s

Heid’s, I’m waiting on your apology. This double digit seed has upset Darwin’s, Twin Trees, and the titanic Tully’s, but now faces Dinosaur, who has yet to break a sweat in any matchup. Both are true establishments of the area, and both are great places in the upcoming summer months. So will you vote for the plucky underdog, or the national power?

#6 Varsity vs #7 Pastabilities

We’ve had some tough choices so far, but this may be the toughest of them all. Two totally different types of food and ambiance, but two favorites among both locals and SU students. Varsity definitely hits the heartstrings of this blog thanks to the sports connections, but nothing beat a dinner with your parents downtown on a random weekend when they brought you more winter clothes than you originally packed.
