The voting process for the 2020 Syracuse Orange Basketball (S.O.B.) Awards has officially begun as we start with our first category: Best Player.
Unless you’ve been in quarantine without internet access/cable since November, the answer here is pretty obvious given one particular Syracuse player made All-ACC First Team. Nonetheless, we still have to go through the voting process.
Here are this year’s candidates.
Elijah Hughes: 19.0 ppg, 4.9 reb, 3.4 ast, 1.2 stl, 0.8 bpg. 42.6 fg%, 31.1 3p%
Buddy Boeheim: 15.3 ppg, 2.2 ast, 1.9 reb, 1.1 stl, 40.8 fg%, 37.0 3p%
Marek Dolezaj: 10.4 ppg, 6.4 reb, 2.8 ast, 1.1 stl, 0.8 bpg, 50.7 fg%, 14.3 3p%
Joseph Girard III: 12.4 ppg, 3.5 ast, 3.0 reb, 1.5 stl 34.8 fg%, 32.4 3p%
Cast your vote in the poll below and make your case in the comment section. Voting will close on Friday at 9 p.m. EST.
