Without sports on television, you probably miss your favorite teams and players. Perhaps you even miss your favorite players so much that you wish you could get a message from them, just to help feel a little bit better about the current time we’re living in.
Well, that can be arranged.
If you’re not familiar with Cameo (not a sponsor of this post), it basically helps facilitate custom video messages from your favorite celebrities, in exchange for a fee. While some of those fees can run pretty high, many of them don’t — including those for former college football and basketball stars. Including fees to get a message from former Syracuse Orange quarterback Eric Dungey.
You can book a message from Dungey for just $30 right now. It could be a birthday, a hello, congratulations at work... or mostly anything else, provided Dungey agrees. We’re considering requesting an endorsement for this here website, but we’ll see if that goes through.
Dungey’s not the only former Syracuse player you can send some money for a message, either. Among the other options currently available on Cameo:
- Donovan McNabb ($300)
- Dwight Freeney ($93)
- Chris McCullough ($50)
- Tyus Battle ($40)
- Oshae Brissett ($20)
- Dontae Strickland ($10)
Certainly there are other players that could join this list over time. But if you want a message, AND want to toss a few bucks in the general direction of a player you enjoyed watching at Syracuse (and beyond), this is an option for you.
Also, if there are other Syracuse grad celebs you’re looking for, folks like Carl Radke (Summer House) or Taye Diggs (no additional context needed) are also on there. If nothing else, you now have something fun to do while stuck at home for the next month.
