As most of you may know (since it’s being thrown around), CBS Sports Network is going to be replaying the 2003 NCAA men’s basketball national title game between the Syracuse Orange and the Kansas Jayhawks this Saturday, April 4 at 7 p.m ET.
Since everyone else is planning on watching it, it seems like the staff here at TNIAAM might as well take a gander at it as well. If you all would like to watch along, we’re planning on setting up a viewing over on SportsCastr.com, where Andy and I host a weekly livestream. You should check out if you can’t get your weekly Nunes fix from the site, or even if you can.
Worst case you get to hang out with Andy, Kevin James and I, on a second screen watching one hell of a game, ending in glory. You’ll even get to rehash my story of how I didn’t see anything after Warrick’s block for the umpteenth time that I’ve mentioned it.
As always with the livecast, we’ll try and keep this casual and want to hear your feedback on the stream and any comments you have on the broadcast. Also, feel free to let us know what you’d like us talk about either here in the comments or as things come up, on Twitter at @acpregler, @kwallcuse, @JamesSzuba and @dutchhart.
The plan is to monitor the gamethread and create a dialog with what everyone is remembering, seeing and feeling. We hope you’ll come join us and follow along with some damn good memories of “One Shining Moment.”
