Our Syracuse Orange offseason content machine continues to churn out discussion topics for you to ponder. Today’s $44 challenge is to build the best line-up of Syracuse Football offensive skill position players.
You need to pick a quarterback, two running backs, one wide receiver and one player from the wide receiver/tight end list. Remember any player not listed carries a $2 charge.

My line-up will be:
QB: Ryan Nassib ($5)
RB: Jim Brown ($20)
RB: Rob Konrad ($10)
WR: Kevin Johnson ($5)
WR/TE: Qadry Ismail ($4)
We’re going to build around the greatest athlete in Syracuse history and take our chances. Teams are certainly going to load up to stop Jim Brown and putting him with Konrad means defenses better be ready to get run over for 60 minutes. Not to mention that both guys can catch the ball out of the backfield so we’re going to keep the defense guessing.
I think Nassib’s senior year was very underrated and we’ll give him two guys who’ll be able to get open against man coverage. Ismail’s speed means defenses will need to have a safety over the top or and Johnson broke out in his senior season with twelve touchdowns on 68 touches. Yes, you read that right he scored a touchdown every six times he touched the ball.
I’m sure a lot of you will build your line-up around Eric Dungey and you could go off the board for a wide receiver and running back and pair him with Davis or Little which would make for some interesting RPO play calls.
Well let us know what you decide in the comments below... and just so you know there will be future posts for offensive line, defense and special teams.
