Hughes has risen to a mid-second-round pick in most notable NBA mock drafts. The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie had Hughes pegged at No. 41 in his latest mock.
The NBA Draft Combine is scheduled to begin on May 21 and continue through May 24 in Chicago. The NBA Draft is scheduled for June 25 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The draft will air on ESPN. It’s unclear at this time how the spread of COVID-19 will impact these events.
Hughes led the ACC in scoring last season while taking home First Team All-ACC honors. He averaged 19.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
