The voting process for the 2020 S.O.B. (Syracuse Orange basketball) Awards continues as today we move on to a new category: Most surprising player.
We’ve already covered the voting for best player and best walk-on, so now we’re looking to find the player that surprised the most in 2019-20.
In the preseason, we usually have a general idea on what to expect from the Syracuse season and each player individually. Sometimes those expectations are justified. Other times, those expectations look inaccurate in hindsight.
As it relates to this award, however, we’re looking to find which player surprised the most based on preseason expectation. You can vote based on which player performed above or below your expectation in the preseason.
