TNIAAM 2020 Beer Bracket: Mortalis wins championship

What started as a group of 68 breweries from around the country ended with Avon, NY’s Mortalis taking home the title of “best in America” — at least according to the voters in TNIAAM’s 2020 Beer Bracket.

Despite starting off the event as a 14-seed in the East, Mortalis rode upset after upset to the championship, knocking off the South Region’s 2-seed The Veil for the title on Saturday. While Mortalis can certainly thank the efforts of literally thousands of voters helping them take home the win, the same opportunity was there for other breweries’ fans too. The same groundswell just never materialized.

Congrats to Mortalis, and hope everyone had a good time with this exercise. Perhaps we’ll revisit next March, or Summer 2021. Next week’s bracket is the best Syracuse football teams of all-time, for those wondering what’s up ahead.
