Taco Time: Buddy Boeheim gets the lead for Syracuse

With under two minutes remaining in the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team’s game against Wake Forest, Jesse Edwards tipped the ball out of Andrien White’s hands and to Joe Girard III. Dribbling past halfcourt in transition, Girard III passed to Buddy Boeheim on the left wing of the 3-point line, and he took one dribble before laying it in for the score. That put the Orange up 71-70 while also bringing SU fans their 11th Taco Time of the season.

Ticket holders from the game will be able to enjoy a free taco at any participating Taco Bell restaurant by presenting their ticket stubs.

Syracuse is now 11-4 against the taco spread (ATTS) in 15 home games this year. Brycen Goodine, Elijah Hughes, Quincy Guerrier, Bourama Sidibe, Joe Girard III, and Jesse Edwards have also scored Taco Time for SU fans this season.
