After needing a game-winning put-back by Brycen Goodine on Saturday to beat Wake Forest, The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team goes for two straight as the NC State Wolfpack comes to town.
NC State had lost three straight games prior to its win at Miami last week. The Wolfpack have had five days off since then. Syracuse put together a five game win streak before losing back-to-back games at Clemson and against Duke. If the Orange are to get back on track and into the NCAA Tournament discussion, it would need to string together multiple wins, beginning tonight.
The winner of tonight’s contest will bolster its tournament hopes, as a win for NC State would qualify as quadrant one, while a Syracuse win would qualify as quadrant two.
Syracuse opened as a five point favorite before the line moved to. The over/under is set at 144. The game tips momentarily on will air on ESPN2.
