It’s been a rough season for the Syracuse Orange football team, but a couple of players have had standout games to earn recognition. This week, Sean Tucker shared ACC running back of the week honors with Notre Dame’s Kyren Williams as both were recognized for their performances in the game between both programs.

As I mentioned in my player of the game article, Tucker became the first running back this season to break the 100-yard rushing barrier against the Notre Dame defense. His 113 rushing yards was a career high by one yard. Tucker also made the highlight reels with an impressive 40-yard touchdown run.
Tucker gets his second ACC running back of the week recognition this season, becoming the first and only Syracuse player to earn multiple conference player of the week honors this season. The freshman previously earned ACC running back of the week with his game against Georgia Tech, where he set his previous career high in rushing yards to go along with two touchdowns in Syracuse’s only win of the season.
Congratulations, Sean!
