It’s early signing season, which means a new batch of Syracuse Orange athletes are about to head north. Syracuse will add recruits to the program between Wednesday through Friday, but expect most players to sign on Wednesday. As each signing is confirmed, we’ll post profiles here on TNIAAM. Up next is Wes Hoeh, who heads up north from Illinois.

Hometown: Glen Ellyn, Ill.
Previous School: Glenbard West
Stats: 6’4”, 250 lbs.
Commitment date: June 19, 2020
Position: Offensive line / Guard
Ratings: Consensus three stars all-around.
Other Offers: The big man from Illinois garnered offers from Navy, Kent State, Air Force and some of the Ivys, among others.
Dino’s projected nickname: “Hoed Up” - What he’ll be saying to opposing defensive linemen through his career (hopefully).
Player Breakdown: His film shows a willingness to block on the move and find the second level, which is an asset in this offense. He looks to have played both guard and tackle in high school, but probably works best at this level in the guard position. His size and mobility both help that out. As it should be, he’ll be a redshirt candidate this coming year and see what he can do developmentally in the Orange system.
