Jim Christian’s probably wearing a URI t-shirt under this jacket. He’s staying with the sneaker brand mask beard and when you’re 1-4 and the new AD just wants to bring his former Temple HC to join him best to not get too attached to the BC gear.

We’ve been pushing for years to get Boeheim to be a bit more casual but this new rule has so far sidelined The Official Jim Boeheim Jacket Toss Tracker. Jim looks more comfortable in the ¹⁄₄ zip but he’s undecided on his mask. He’s gone gaiter, chinstrap mask, and at Rutgers added a face shield. What’s next?

8.7/10 Coming off a loss and hosting a pretty poor team means we’re going to get extra-cranky Jim. If he’s wearing that face shield again there’s a pretty good chance he’ll be smashing it off the closest chair, table, or Syracuse substitute.

Prediction:

Syracuse is likely to start slow as Buddy returns to the starting line-up. Rich Kelly is going to come off the BC bench and hit a bunch of shots as Syracuse fans moan about the “random guy going off for a career high” principle. This game stays uncomfortably close because BC has a lot of experience playing in empty buildings. The Orange make some late free throws to clinch the first ACC win of the season.
