Orange in the NFL: How’d former Syracuse stars do in Week 11 of the 2020 season?

The Syracuse Orange were on a bye week, but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t watch former ‘Cuse players in the NFL. With 8 former Orange stars on active rosters (and more on practice squads), our Orange in the NFL recaps are filling out nicely. (All stats from NFL.com)

Justin Pugh, Arizona Cardinals

Pugh played all 67 snaps in the Cards loss to Alton and the Seahawks.

Alton Robinson, Seattle Seahawks

Robinson played just 12 defensive snaps in the victory, his second lowest in his active games this year. He did get an assist on a tackle.

Riley Dixon, New York Giants

Dixon did not play due to COVID-19 protocols. He was activated from the COVID-19 list on Monday.

Zaire Franklin, Indianapolis Colts

The Colts captain only saw special teams action this week, racking up an assisted tackle.

Sterling Hofrichter, Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons lost 24-9 to the New Orleans Saints, and Hof was kept busy with 5 punts. He had a season best 56 longest punt, and averaged 50 yards per kick. 4 of the kicks were returned, but only for a total of 40 yards.

Trishton Jackson, Los Angeles Rams

Jackson was inactive for his team’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Doug Marrone, Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jags were defeated by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Doug Marrone’s seat is not yet too hot to handle. It seems like the QB uncertainty is keeping him employed for the moment, as the Jaguars are now second place in Trevor Lawrence/Justin Fields sweeps.

Out for the Season with Injury

Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals

Glad to see some solid names getting some run in the newest NFL season.
