The Syracuse Orange were on a bye week, but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t watch former ‘Cuse players in the NFL. With 8 former Orange stars on active rosters (and more on practice squads), our Orange in the NFL recaps are filling out nicely. (All stats from NFL.com)
Justin Pugh, Arizona Cardinals
Pugh played all 73 offensive snaps in the Cardinals crazy win over the Buffalo Bills.
Alton Robinson, Seattle Seahawks
Robinson’s snap percentage went down again, only playing 39% of defensive snaps (down from 53% last week) and saw 1 defensive snap on special teams. He racked up 2 solo tackles, matching his production from last week in that snap.
Riley Dixon, New York Giants
Dixon punted 4 times in the Giants victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, and the highlight was a career best 71 yard punt. (This gets him on Pro Football Reference’s Longest Punt leaderboard.) More impressively, his Net Average for the game was 53.3 yards, a season high, with all four punts pinning the Eagles inside their own 20. All in all, this was a fantastic game for the ‘Cuse alum.
Editor’s Update: Dixon has placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list for the Giants.

Zaire Franklin, Indianapolis Colts
The Colts captain saw his workload tremendously reduced this week in their 34-17 win over the Tennessee Titans. Franklin only saw 1 snap on defense, and 18 snaps on special teams, which was 75% of available snaps, his second lowest of the year.
Sterling Hofrichter, Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons were on their bye week.
Trishton Jackson, Los Angeles Rams
Jackson was inactive for his team’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Doug Marrone, Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jags were blown out by the Detroit Lions, and things don’t get easier for them; They have the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers coming to town this Sunday.
Out for the Season with Injury
Chandler Jones, Arizona Cardinals
Glad to see some solid names getting some run in the newest NFL season.
