Syracuse football vs. Boston College kickoff set for 2 p.m. ET on your local RSN

Another noon kicko... WAIT, WHAT??

The last thing I expected from this season was that Syracuse would break the nooner streak.

The second-to-last thing I expected was that nooner streak would be broken with a Boston College game.

That’s right fans, your eyes don’t deceive you. The ACC released their kickoff times and TV affiliates for the Syracuse Orange game against Boston College on November 7, and in a shocking turn of events, the Orange won’t play a game that starts at noon.

A 2 p.m. ET start means that the game against the Eagles will be the first contest that Syracuse plays this year that will not start at noon (or noon-ish). The game will be televised through regional sports networks, which for Syracuse locals means that the game will be shown on the YES Network once again. If you don’t get YES in your area, refer to this webpage on the day of the game to find the channel in your area that is airing the game.

Boston College has had an odd season, entering this upcoming week with a 4-2 record after defeating Georgia Tech on Saturday. The Eagles barely scraped by Texas State earlier this year and get the pleasure of playing a pissed-off Clemson team that wants to prove something after a performance that didn’t meet the high expectations of the Tigers during the Syracuse game.

How will you celebrate the arrival of a non-noon game for Syracuse? Let us know in the comments below.
