Just a day after the Syracuse Orange football team added their first quarterback of the 2020 recruiting cycle, it appears they’ve now landed a second, in McKinney, Tex. passer Dillon Markiewicz.

Markiewicz, who’s a pro-style QB that stands at 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, just visited campus this past weekend and received an offer. Though he’s not rated in the 247Sports composite, the site gives him three stars in their own rankings. He also holds offers from Boise State and Stephen F. Austin.
As mentioned, he’s the second QB to join the 2020 recruiting class, and the second this week along with Jacobian Morgan. Both are three stars and outside the top 1,500 prospects in the country, for those worried about the state of quarterback recruiting for the Orange right now. However, on the bright side, new offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert will have some upside to work with developing both.
Welcome aboard, Dillon! National Signing Day is next Wednesday. You can find Dillon’s highlights below.
