Over the last month, we’ve invited you to participate in SBNation’s NCAA Fan Pulse (and it’s not too late to sign up if you haven’t). Each week we’ll bring you the results.

First let’s look at the Top 25 from all schools voting:

After omitting the Syracuse Orange from the pre-season poll, clearly the fans were impressed by the shutout win over Liberty to push the Orange to 21st this week.

This week’s poll also asked fans if they were confident after Week One and we’re happy to report that 100% said they were confident this week. We’re also happy you decided to put Syracuse 20th in the TNIAAM Top 25 which is good so maybe we’ll just not comment on being behind an Oregon team which lost.....anyway here’s what the TNIAAM FanPulse Top 25 looks like this week.

  1. Clemson Tigers
  2. Alabama Crimson Tide
  3. Georgia Bulldogs
  4. Oklahoma Sooners
  5. Ohio State Buckeyes
  6. LSU Tigers
  7. Michigan Wolverines
  8. Auburn Tigers
  9. Florida Gators
  10. Texas Longhorns
  11. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
  12. Texas A&M Aggies
  13. Washington Huskies
  14. Utah Utes
  15. Penn State Nittany Lions
  16. UCF Knights
  17. Wisconsin Badgers
  18. Oregon Ducks
  19. Michigan State Spartans
  20. Syracuse Orange
  21. Iowa Hawkeyes
  22. Iowa St. Cyclones
  23. Washington State Cougars
  24. Stanford Cardinal
  25. Nebraska Cornhuskers

Some notes from this week’s polls:

Clemson was the top team for every fanbase except the Kentucky Wildcats. How did the other ACC fanbases view the Orange after week 1? Glad you asked....here’s how they view Syracuse and other ACC schools (only includes fan bases with 50 or more members):

  • Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Lousiville, Miami, Pitt, Virginia and Virginia Tech fans put Syracuse 21st
  • NC State, Notre Dame, Wake Forest (and this week’s opponent Maryland) fans have Syracuse 22nd.

We took a look at the non-ACC voting and no other school thought that Syracuse deserved a top 20 ranking and the lowest Syracuse appeared on any ballot was 23rd.

We’ll be bringing you these FanPulse updates throughout the season so keep making your voices heard. The more of us there are honoring our contracts, the more likely it is Syracuse will be ranked each week.
