Faster Stronger Orange: Previewing Syracuse Cross Country

Former Orange runner Chris Getman joins the show to preview the squads

With a lot of new faces in the Syracuse Orange cross-country line-ups we brought in someone who follows collegiate distance running closely. My friend and former teammate at Syracuse Chris Getman gives us his insights into the men’s and women’s teams as we talk about their chances to contend for ACC titles and make it to the NCAA Championships.

Chris is someone outside the media who knows the ins and outs of the sport of cross country and it was great to get his perspective on the outlook for the Syracuse men and women. We talked about the competition in the ACC and where the Orange stack up in comparison with favorites Notre Dame and NC State.

This week’s episode goes about twenty three minutes and as we recorded last week I assumed someone we didn’t discuss in detail would have a strong showing on Friday. Of course, I was right but let’s see if you can catch who we missed.... correct answers are worth 44 NunesBucks.
