Of course, TNIAAM is the only site you read. But surprisingly, other sites write about college football as well. Each week, we’ll take a look at what those other college football media sites are saying about the Syracuse Orange.

ESPN

Syracuse is seventh in Andrea Adelson’s ACC Power Rankings this week coming in behind the North Carolina Tar Heels and in front of the Miami-Florida Hurricanes.

In this week’s SP+ rankings Syracuse dropped to 75th with the offense up ten spots to 74th in the SP+ while the defense dropped back to 77th. Next week’s game against Holy Cross will give the Orange a chance to head back in the right direction.

Chris Carlson moves the Orange up three spots to seventh in his ACC Power Rankings this week placing them right behind the North Carolina Tar Heels.

“Syracuse did not deliver the complete tour de force that its fans were hoping for but it did get a badly-needed win against Western Michigan. Most importantly, Syracuse’s offense looked substantially better against an opponent that didn’t have Clemson’s defensive front.”

CBS Sports’ 1-130 keeps Syracuse at 56th this week between the Arizona Wildcats and Wyoming Cowboys.

The Athletic bumps the Orange up from 66th to 59th in their Top 130 Power Rankings in between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Lousiana Lafayette Ragin Cajuns.

Individual Honors:

Alton Robinson received 2nd team honors from Pro Football Focus’ Eckerich College Team of the Week honors.

Trishton Jackson took home ACC Wide Receiver of the Week after his two TD performance.
