Duke and North Carolina games will receive flexible start times for now.

The ACC has announced the tip-off times for its men’s basketball conference schedule, one week after a marathon release special on the league’s network and it looks like the Syracuse Orange were treated well.

Opening night against Virginia will be a 9 p.m.tip, while the Duke and North Carolina games have flexible Saturday late afternoon/evening start times. An odd trip to Georgia Tech in December received the noon treatment which allows the Orange to return home early that Sunday with a road trip to Georgetown awaiting the following weekend.

The Duke game will almost certainly become an 8 p.m. tip, with only NC State and Louisville as a serious primetime competitor. The Feb. 29 meeting with North Carolina will contend with a Virginia-Duke meeting that day.

The Syracuse Orange’s schedule is as follows.
