Name: Josh Kosciol
Position: Offensive Line
Year: Freshman
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 275
Hometown: Honeoye Falls, N.Y.
High School: Honeoye Falls-Lima
2018 stats: Was all-county as an offensive tackle and linebacker.
2019 projections: Likely takes a redshirt season as he gets more familiar with the system (and there are quite a few experienced scholarship offensive linemen in front of him for playing time).
How’d he get here?: Syracuse offered him as a preferred walk-on, and he was happy to accept back in March.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Nothing, unfortunately.
Money quote: Kosciol described coming back from an ACL tear to play his senior season.
“It was tough, there were a lot of setbacks, you just have to keep your head down, keep moving. You have to stay confident because it’s scary coming out worrying about re-injury, but you just have to be confident that you’re good to go.”
Twitterfeed: @joshkosciol54
Tweets of wonder: An excellent athlete and scholar.

What movie would Dino Babers recommend for him?: Sure, you’re probably used to seeing Josh Brolin with purple CGI and a big chin as Thanos in the recent Avengers films, but one of his best roles may be as Llewelyn Moss in the Academy Award-winning “No Country for Old Men.”
Interesting nugget o’ interest: TBD if this is where Josh’s name actually comes from, but “Kościół” is a Polish word for church derived from Old Czech.
Let’s get a good look at ya: Senior year highlights for you.
