No matter where you go to watch college football this fall, we can guarantee you that you’ll be hearing “Old Town Road” played over the P.A. system. The Lil Nas X song has remained at the top of the Billboard charts for months now and with different remix versions dropping this summer it’s likely that new versions will be hitting come September as well.
So rather than waiting to hear the same versions, we went ahead and came up with the appropriate “Old Town Road” remix for each ACC squad.
Boston College Eagles: Dropkick Murphys & Neil Diamond
Can’t blame the Alumni Stadium staff for trying to convince people that they are at a Patriots or Red Sox game instead of watching Daz’s Dudes run the ball 40 times a game.
Clemson Tigers: Lee Brice & Jeezy
After Chase Brice saved Clemson’s season his uncle Lee gets a spot and Jeezy’s probably the artist who can get someone to dance like this

Duke Blue Devils: Fall Out Boy & Halsey
How can we make “Old Town Road” a bigger stadium anthem? Oh we’re lightin’ Mups... that’s what we’re doing.
Florida State Seminoles: Florida Georgia Line & Bebe Rexha
“If it’s meant to be it’ll be” — FGL lyrics or Willie Taggart’s approach to offensive line protection schemes?
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets: Big Boi & Zac Brown Band
Georgia Tech is going to be an entertaining clash of styles this year and this Georgia pairing would be as well.
Louisville Cardinals: Lizzo & Eric Church
Right now the Truth Hurts for the Cardinals but they are hopeful a new regime will help them get back Some of It
Miami-Florida Hurricanes: Pitbull & Trick Daddy
It’s all about the U and while we actually wait for the U to be back, we can bring back an artist that was hot when the Canes were relevant nationally. Dale.

North Carolina Tar Heels: Petey Pablo & James Taylor
When you want to get the crowd riled up but you also don’t want to upset Mack Brown too much you need JT to mellow things out before they get too crazy. Raise Up but not all the way up please.
N.C. State Wolfpack: J. Cole & Luke Combs
While Beer Never Broke Luke’s Heart, the Wolfpack have certainly done that to their fans over the years. Will this be the season they break from being the ACC’s “Middle Child”?
Pittsburgh Panthers: Luke Bryan & Wiz Khalifa
The Panthers are going to get a hard workin’ remix to reflect the smash mouth style. Knocking helmets is something like “Knockin Boots.”
Syracuse Orange: Post Malone & Jason Aldean
It’s safe to say that Orange fans are doing “Better Now” with Dino Babers as he certainly “Makes it Easy”.
Virginia Cavaliers: Dave Matthews Band & Da Baby
We’re obligated by Charlottesville law to use DMB here, but since UVA athletics had an amazing spring they get one of the artists who broke out during the same time.
Virginia Tech Hokies: Metallica & Missy Elliott
Definitely using the Enter Sandman guitars in this one and I don’t think anyone’s going to complain about it. Missy’s from Virginia, so it works.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons: Ben Folds & Kane Brown
Winston-Salem’s own plays the piano on this one while Kane Brown seems close enough to Cade Carney to excite the Deacons’ fans.

Now it’s your turn. If you want to extend it to non-ACC schools, let’s hear who you think would perform the UConn and Rutgers versions. Trash compactors aren’t artists, unfortunately.
