TBT has finally come to Syracuse and after a long summer’s wait, Boeheim’s Army will tip off momentarily from the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College. The group of former Syracuse Orange basketball players (plus Jordan Crawford) will square up with We Are D3, a group, as the name might suggest, of former division three basketball players.
Official tip time is 7:00 p.m. and the game will air on ESPN2. Ryan Blackwell is back as head coach of the army alongside GM Kevin Belbey. This year’s roster might be the best rendition yet as Eric Devendorf, Michael Gbinije, John Gillon, B.J. Johnson, Andrew White, Arinze Onuaku, Hakim Warrick and Darryl Watkins join the aforementioned Crawford on the team. Chris McCullough and Brandon Triche are also on the roster, but it’s unlikely either of them give it a go this weekend.
In case you missed any of our coverage up until now, we’ve highlighted a few relevent posts in the links below.

Consider this the gamethread for tonight’s game. We’ll have the recap up afterwards as well supplemental coverage. I’ll actually be making my way up to Syracuse as tonight’s game is going on, but I’ll be on site at OCC for Satruday’s and Sunday’s games. Feel free to give me a shout if you see me, or hit me on twitter @JamesSzuba.
We’re back into form here, so as always leave your pre-, in- and post-game comments below and GO ORANGE!
