Name: Kadeem Trotter
Position: Linebacker
Year: (Redshirt) Sophomore
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 211
Hometown: Canton, Ohio
High School: McKinley
2018 stats: Did not play in any games.
2019 projections: Listen, linebackers are the weak point of this team. There’s an opportunity for anyone to step up and become a contributor. Trotter isn’t penciled into that rotation right now, but a lot can change when practices start up next month.
How’d he get here?: Probably by car after picking the Orange over Iowa State and Boston College.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Three stars all around. Rivals really liked him, rating him a top-40 prospect from Ohio.
Money quote: Trotter had a nasty injury in high school that limited his production in high school. He knows it, too.
“Many of the coaches on my team and scouts around here, they said I could’ve been the No. 1 prospect (in Ohio),” Trotter said. “My coach said I’d probably have 50 offers right now if I never got hurt.”
Twitter feed: @KadeemTrotter
Tweets of wonder: Trotter has figured out the internet.

What movie would Dino recommend for him?: Dude trying to play on one leg against the odds? “Skyscraper” seems like an appropriate fit.
Interesting nugget o’interest: He actually chose not to play his sophomore year of high school. Luckily, his head coach talked him back into it.
Let’s get a look at ya: Gimme those squats.
