We know that readers of this fine blog want to know about Syracuse Orange sports, but it’s not every summer that a former Heisman Trophy winner will be spending his summer in the 315. With Tim Tebow in town to play for the Syracuse Mets, it’s going to provide some media attention.
Even though Syracuse embarrassed Tebow’s alma mater so badly in 1991 that the Florida Gators have refused to travel north again, we still want to see Tim enjoy his stay in our fine city and we want to help our fellow media colleagues track his movements. So I started some suggestions for #SummerofTebow content
Very excited for a summer full of Tim Tebow content. Looking forward to seeing the following:
— Kevin Wall (@kwallcuse) April 2, 2019
- A shirtless Tebow on rollerblades on the Parkway
- Tebow jamming out to Sugar Ray @ Taste of Syracuse
- Tebow doing paddleboard yoga @ Green Lakes
- Tebow dining w/Boeheim at Heids
In true friendly fashion some of you jumped in with some good suggestions like these:
Tebow tailgating at the Amp before Zac Brown.
— Orange Faithful (@OrangeFaithful) April 2, 2019
Tebow sitting in Chevy Court for the 2 pm showing of Bowser on Agricultural Day is what I’m here for
— Jeremy Long (@JLong591) April 2, 2019
We even got some experienced media suggestions:
Tebow chowing down on a sub sandwich at Wegman’s
— Mike Waters (@MikeWatersSYR) April 2, 2019
- Tebow rocking at the @NYSBluesFest
— David Schultz (@SportsChat_Dave) April 2, 2019
So what other CNY summer activities should we be on #TebowWatch for? Remember if you spot Tim out and about in the Syracuse area, don’t bother him but be sure to tag us in your #SummerofTebow posts.
