For the second day in a row, the Syracuse Orange football program has landed a commitment. Yesterday, it was grad transfer Ryan Alexander, and today, 2020 3-star DE Kevin Lemieux has pledged to the Orange. Lemieux is the first 2020 prospect for Dino Babers and staff.

Lemieux currently attends The Governor’s School (MA), and held six offers before choosing Syracuse. 247sports ranks Lemieux as the 36th best strong-side defensive end, and sixth best prospect from Massachusetts in the 2020 cycle. Lemiuex is listed at 6’4” 235 pounds.
Lemieux may slide inside during his college career, as his frame will likely allow him to carry 30-40 extra pounds. Watching his Hudl film, Lemieux’s athleticism and power immediately stand out, as well as his versatility.
