You already knew the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team would be playing the Baylor Bears in round round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. Now you know when:
As many of you have dreaded, the eighth-seeded Orange will get the final tip-off time on Thursday night from Salt Lake City, Utah. For East Coasters, that’s at some as-of-yet-undetermined time after 7:30 p.m. — the start time for the game between the No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs and the winner of the Farleigh Dickinson/Prairie View A&M game. Figure no earlier than 10 p.m. or so, but most likely, you’re looking at 10:20/10:30 p.m. ET.
Obviously I’m a little less concerned about it here on the West Coast...
As for TV details, it’ll be airing on truTV (check your local listings), with Andrew Catalon, Steve Lappas and Lisa Byington as the broadcast team.
The entire Thursday evening slate for those looking to plan out your evenings without any significant amount of sleep:

Tipping off late sort of comes with the territory in the West Region, and with Syracuse playing a max of two games in Salt Lake, followed by two potential games in Anaheim, Calif. if they can get to the Sweet 16 and Elite 8, might as well adjust your schedules now.
You’re in MY TIME ZONE NOW (well aware that SLC’s Mountain Time). AND YOU WILL LIKE IT.
