The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team is headed to the Big Dance once more as Jim Boehiem’s club has earned a No. 8 seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament. The Orange have been placed in the West Region and will square off against No. 9 seed Baylor in the first round.

The game will tip off from Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday. The winner of that game will move on to the Second Round to take on the winner of No. 1 seed Gonzaga or No. 16 seed Fairleigh Dickinson. The Round of 32 winner will go on to compete in San Jose, CA in the Sweet 16.

As is the case every year, CBS and Turner sports will provide live coverage for all 67 tournament games for the 2019 NCAA Tournament across its four television networks (CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV).

This marks Boeheim’s 34th NCAA Tournament appearance in his 43-year head coaching tenure at Syracuse. He’s led the Orange to five Final Four appearances and 19 Sweet 16 runs.
