The Orange enter their first NCAA Tournament game as heavy underdogs. The top-ranked and top-seeded Wisconsin Badgers are looking to advance to their sixth-straight Frozen Four and Syracuse will have a tough task in pulling the upset.

The Badgers are led by Senior Annie Pankowski who has 45 points in 36 games this season and talented Freshmen Sophie Shirley (38 points) and Britta Curl (32 points). In net for Wisconsin will be Redshirt Junior Kristen Campbell who leads the nation with a 1.16 goals against average this season.

Syracuse was led at the CHA Championships by Anonda Hopper who took Tournament MVP honors after scoring five points in the three games and goalie Ady Cohen who stopped 55 of 60 shots in the final two games.

Knocking off Wisconsin on the road will be a difficult challenge but it’s one the Orange is looking forward to according to Junior Captain Lindsay Eastwood.

Good luck to the Orange!
