Syracuse Orange junior guard Tyus Battle was named to the Third Team All-ACC this afternoon. He’s averaging 17.2 points per game which leads the Orange. Battle was the only Syracuse player honored this season and he was Second-Team All-ACC last season.

Zion Williamson won both the Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards. Virginia Cavaliers Head Coach Tony Bennett won Coach of the Year honors for the fourth time. De’Andre Hunter of Virginia was named Defensive Player of the Year, Jordan Nwora of the Louisville Cardinals was selected Most Improved Player and Mfiondu Kabengele of the Florida State Seminoles was named Sixth Man of the Year.
Battle and Syracuse open the ACC Tournament on Wednesday evening at 9 p.m.-ish where they will face the winner of the Boston College Eagles vs Pittsburgh Panthers opening round game.
