Player outlook: Johnson will be entering a crowded backfield, with Moe Neal, Abdul Adams, and Jarveon Howard slated to see the bulk of carries in 2019. Still, Johnson appears to have a bright future in Syracuse, with considerable size already as a high school senior. In his senior season, Johnson ran for an impressive 22 touchdowns. Johnson’s career may begin as a change-of-pace back, with the potential for a workhorse role down the line.
