Welcome to college football’s early signing period! Despite the disappointment on the field this fall the Syracuse Orange are hoping to add key components to get back to bowl eligibility in 2020. As each player signs, we’ll be posting profiles here on TNIAAM. Next up is speedy running back Sean Tucker.

Hometown: Baltimore, Md.

Previous School: Calvert Hall College

Stats: 5’10”, 190 lbs.

Commitment date: April 13, 2019

Position: Running back

Ratings: Three stars from everyone.

Other offers: Wisconsin, Rutgers, Air Force and Kent State were among the other suitors for Tucker’s services. Back on April 13, 2019, Tucker let the staff know that he was going to be wearing Orange.

Dino’s predicted nickname: Babers might go with some pop-culture and start calling Tucker “Flash.” As the fastest superhero around, it would be fitting for the guy who can run a 4.3 second 40-yard dash.

Highlights:

Player outlook: Tucker will fit into a solid list of returning players, so he’s likely to be able to redshirt and get a little more acclimated to the Orange system. With Abdul Adams, Jawhar Jordan, Jarveon Howard and Markenzy Pierre coming back, there won’t be too many carries to go around for the true freshman, but he may get some run in a blowout or two with the still relatively new redshirt rules.
