Get your Syracuse basketball bingo card ready for the Virginia game

Hey, you. Did you know that the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team — coached by Jim Boeheim, in his 44th season — plays a 2-3 zone? Did you know that he talked about playing man-to-man this summer?

Oh, you did?

Well perhaps you didn’t know that the Virginia Cavaliers, who come to the Carrier Dome tonight, won the National Championship last season.

Oh, you knew that too?

Well of course. That’s probably because Virginia fans are still willing to tell anybody that will listen all about their title run from a season ago. In case Virginia fans haven’t talked your ears off about that, be sure to keep them open for that “defending National Champions” line, among others, on the broadcast tonight.

Ladies and gents, this is the kind of stuff you can set your watch to.
