Another name has been (tentatively) added to the Syracuse Orange football recruiting class for 2020. On Friday, wide receiver Trebor Pena has announced on Twitter that he has committed to the Orange.
Pena, the Oakhurst, New Jersey native, played his high school ball at Ocean Township High School. He’s listed on the 247 and ESPN rankings as a three star, and is on Rivals as a two-star recruit.
The 5-foot-11, 180 pound wideout, who is also listed as an athlete, was a Temple commit, verbally commiting in June, and backing out after his senior season to open up his recruitment. He had numerous other offers, including Air Force, Navy, and Kent State, though Syracuse was the only noted Power Five offer.
Pena is the first receiver added for 2020, and second pass-catcher, along with Rochester tight end Steven Mahar. SU also has two additional skill position players committed so far, in running backs Marlowe Wax and Sean Tucker.
