Depth charts have rarely been all that important when trying to determine who’s suiting up for Dino Babers’s Syracuse Orange football team on a given week, and this Monday’s “update” was no different.
As you’ll notice below, the only change from the BC game was the removal of an “OR” between Trill Williams and Antwan Cordy at nickel.

The fact that there were no changes isn’t surprising, sure, but that doesn’t make it any less disappointing. With three games left, Syracuse can have freshmen that they’d like to see more of get some reps without burning redshirts. There are at least a couple positions — linebacker, offensive line — where it could help build experienced depth for the future, at the very least.
Hopefully this isn’t indicative of the full range of changes we see on the field. But none too encouraging a sign here that everything looks much as it did before the last game.
