College football hasn’t done designated “color rush”-type uniform events the way the NFL does, but Thursday night’s matchup between the Syracuse Orange and N.C. State Wolfpack will look like one to some extent.
When the sun sets, the Orange comes out.

Syracuse will wear all-orange for the first time this season when they take the field against the Pack in Raleigh, N.C. We haven’t seen all-orange since last year’s home game against UNC. That comeback win marked a bit of a turning point for Syracuse and the hope is that this game could for the 2019 squad as well.
The Pack will be in all-white — their “stealth wolf” gear, apparently. Another golden opportunity missed for a Halloween-type orange vs. black game. Alas...
This is the fourth time SU will wear the orange helmets in six games this year (they’re 2-1 so far). ‘Cuse is also 1-0 in the orange jerseys and 1-1 in the orange pants. It’s nice to look like the ORANGE, especially on national TV. So excited to see how this latest iteration of the all-orange uniform set appears on the field.
