Second Half Thread: NC State 13 Syracuse 0

Let’s all just forget that half actually happened

The Syracuse Orange offense started slowly tonight going 3 and out on the first three possessions. NC State capitalized on good field position to get into the red zone on their first two drives. The Syracuse defense held and two Chris Dunn field goals gave the Wolfpack an early 6-0 lead.

Unfortunately the defense didn’t hold late in the half and fell asleep on a WR pass in the final 90 seconds to make the score 13-0....but wait Syracuse got a big play but then a sack and a miss from Andre Szmyt from 44 yards out to really punctuate the awfulness.

Sterling Hofrichter was good and that’s all we need to say. We started this thread to get rid of the bad mojo of the other one so let’s just all try and turn this around ok?
