The Syracuse Orange are certainly setting a stage when the Clemson Tigers come to Central New York. Homecoming/”Orange Central” (#BRAND) is officially September 12-15. The weekend will coincide with the Orange’s ACC Football opener vs defending National Champions Clemson Tigers.

When the official Syracuse football schedule dropped on January 16, it listed the Holy Cross game on September 28 as the Orange Central game. The Orange Central weekend was confirmed by the SU Alumni twitter account. However, there was no further information provided on the weekend.
Now, we get a potential slew of events all on the same group of dates: SU’s home opener, homecoming and maybe College Gameday, too. Hopefully you’ve already bought your hotel accommodations....
This would seem to align things so that if ‘Cuse was to host College GameDay that weekend, there would be plenty of fans to fill the quad and attend the primetime game. The program doesn’t typically announce future locations until a week before the date, so we’ll have to wait awhile on any further news.
